Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center

The mission of Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues.  DCAC is the only agency of its kind in Dallas County, working in agreement with public and private agencies to investigate, prosecute, and provide healing services for child abuse cases in Dallas County. We reduce the re-victimization of the child, remove barriers to investigation and treatment, and enhance criminal prosecution with our distinctive multidisciplinary and united approach to these complex and severe cases.


Collin County Advocacy Center

The Collin County Advocacy Center helps children who were victimized by neglect and physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.

The Texas Legal Services Center Family Helpline is for CPS cases only. When you call this helpline, you can ask a lawyer about Texas Child Protective Services and the legal system.

The Texas Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS)

Call the DFPS abuse hotline toll-free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to report suspicions of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of children, adults with disabilities, or people who are elderly. You can also report using the secure website for a response within 24 hours.
